Program Details

With this self-paced online program, you can prepare for the NASM Corrective Exercise Specialization exam. With the NASM-CES credential under your belt, you'll be able expand your career to helping post-rehab and injured clients recover and remain active. 

Based on cutting-edge research, the NASM-CES curriculum provides you with the science behind corrective exercise and its practical application, including the assessments, techniques, and corrective exercise strategies you need to help clients at any fitness level address muscular imbalances and faulty movements.

In this course, we'll introduce you to human movement science and the rationale behind corrective exercise. You'll study NASM's innovative corrective exercise continuum.

Next, you'll train in movement assessments, inhibitory techniques, muscle activation techniques, and common musculoskeletal impairments. You'll discover the exclusive processes needed to correct movement dysfunction through the use of inhibitory, lengthening, activation, and integration techniques.

By the end of this course, you'll be prepared to pass the Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) exam. A voucher to cover the cost of the certification exam is included in program enrollment!
