Program Details

In this self-paced online program, we'll introduce you to the roles and responsibilities of a medical administrative assistant.

You'll learn about personnel and front office management, vendor management, and billing and payment management. You'll also become familiar with medical records and discover the importance of computer skills for medical assistants.

We'll explore regulatory compliance, common medical office policies and procedures, quality improvement, and risk management. We'll also touch on diagnostic and procedural coding.

Through scenarios and interactivities, you'll have ample opportunity to apply and practice the concepts you learn. This will prepare you for your role as a professional in the health insurance industry.

This program includes a voucher for the CMAA exam through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Please note, in addition to completing a training program like ours, the NHA requires a high school diploma or the equivalent before you're eligible to sit for their exam.
