What's involved?
Pass the test (similar to MT employer tests).
Pay the fee.
Train on actual client dictation until quality reaches 98%, then switch to paid contract MT status (no job guarantee of course).

* Medical Transcriptionists are predominantly paid by the line. Average characters per line vary from 50 to 65.
