This might sound like a stupid question, and I do have somewhat of a clue, but what are the basic 4 of acute care medical transcription? I just want to make sure.

Hello TC: In this business, believe me, there are no stupid questions.

Dictation is generally divided into 2 types: Clinical and hospital. Hospital dictation has the "basic 4." They are:
H&P's (History and physicals), consultation reports, operative reports and discharge summaries.
