As of 7:00 AM this morning, we have migrated all of our online courses to a new server. For most students, the transition has been seamless and transparent, but if you have had any problems, the following should help.

1) If you have been accessing your online course with a link that included the name "proedgeonline.net", you should change your bookmark to use the name "proedge2000.com".

Ex: http://www.proedgeonline.net/../&#...name/index.html -- becomes: http://www.proedge2000.com/../....name/index.html -- the only change is in the server name itself.

2) When we move from one server to another, the physical IP address changes, and that requires a DNS (Domain Name Service) update. Root name servers around the world are updated with the new address and then individual ISPs (Internet Service Providers) download those changes. In most cases, the name updates occur within minutes of the transition, but sometimes it may take up to 24 hours for your ISP to get the new information -- it all depends on how frequently your ISP checks the root servers for these updates.

We hope that the new server will increase performance and that the short interruption in service will not be too inconvenient. If you are having problems and the above information is not helpful, please don't hesitate to contact us: techsupport@meditec.com, or use our online support form: http://www.meditec.com/meditec-tech-support.html
