Looking For Part-time Transcription Work Options

Hi everyone,

I finished my MT course in January, thanks to all of you at Meditec and your support. I was living in Ohio when I finished and now I have moved back to Arizona. I am living in the Peoria, AZ area and would like to find some part-time transcription that I can do out of my home. I worked in the medical field for over 35 years and have a variety of knowledge which hopefully will make it a little easier to find work. One thing that I am running into, is that the sites I have visited are requiring 2-5 years transcribing in acute care. Is there anyone out there that will give us new graduates a chance?

Again thank you for all of your support and most of all patience. I would definately recommend your course to anyone looking for knowledge and experience in medical transcription.
