Since employers do not require it, we are not accredited at this time. Our programs teach the skills needed to pursue your chosen career path. Also, we have nationally recognized certifications available for certain programs.

Meditec programs are online distance learning that are entirely self-paced and can be taken home or anywhere you can access a computer and internet access. Once you are enrolled, you will have up to 12 months to complete your specific program. Students aren’t required to meet at specific time and our programs can be accessed 24/7/365.
Our course material is online or within the textbooks provided. You will be assigned an instructor to answer any questions you have during the class. Our programs are instructor-facilitated, which means you do not attend scheduled lectures. As you move through the program, you will have activities, assignments, and exams to test your knowledge over the material you have learned.
Everything you need to successfully complete the program will be included when you enroll. You will receive access to the online material, any needed textbooks or supplemental material, and access to your instructor. Some programs include the fees for a certification exam. If that is case, you will receive a voucher when you are ready to register for the certification exam.
Please visit the System Requirements page to see if your computer meets the technical requirements for the program. At a minimum, students must have access to a computer connected to the internet.
Upon enrollment, you will be assigned an instructor(s). Meditec instructors are available via email during their scheduled office hours and are happy to answer any questions you have regarding the program content. You may also schedule phone conferences, as needed.
Our programs are designed to be completed in 3-12 months. In the Course section, the clock hours for the program are included. These are the average hours needed to complete the course and program, including the online material, testing, and any offline reading assignments. You may spend additional time or may complete the program faster than the average clock hours, but will not be penalized for doing so.
All students must complete the program before their scheduled end date which will be determined by the length of the program (between 3 and 12 months) and their enrollment date. If you need additional time, see the Enrollment Extensions section in General Policies.
You will receive a Certificate of Completion after you have successfully completed the program. You must achieve an overall average of 70% and complete all of the required coursework and exams in order to receive your Certificate of Completion. Students that purchase the program using an installment plan will not receive their certificate until the program has been paid in full.
Students whose programs include the certification exam will also receive a voucher in order to register and sit for the included exam.
Meditec does not guarantee job placement or employment. We have internship programs available for select programs, which provide both hands-on skills and the possibility of being hired. As a national training provider, many employers contact us with available positions for our students. Announcements about these positions are made available to recent graduates.
Some fields require certification and others recommend it. Certification that is required may be mandated by the state or federal government and students are strongly advised to become familiar with the regulations pertaining to their field. Employers may require specific certifications as demonstration of skills, while others will accept training as the verification of skills.
